How long will it take to build my website?

 
Our policy is to begin the production of your website seven days after receiving your first payment of 15% of the total cost of production. The main web designing process should take anywhere from one to four weeks. Of course, depending on how complex your website is the time will vary. Once the main designing has been completed the coding of the website begins. This can take anywhere from one week to two months, or longer. Again, this depends on the nature of your website.

In all cases we will give you an educated guess on how long it will take to build your website in your free web design quote.

  What browser(s) will my website be compatible for?

Your website will be constructed to work best with Internet Explorer (6.0 +). We cannot guarantee the website will work with other browsers (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Opera etc) but we will try our best to make it suitable for all browsers.

  Will I (or my business) own the web design?

You will have ownership of the license to use the web design for its intended purpose. Such designs are offered for use to the consumer under license only, and are not offered for sale or unbridled use.

  What if I am not happy with the design?

 
We work one on one with you to create the website you want. You can speak to your designer to make changes and add suggestions to your website. This means that if there is anything you are unhappy with, your designer can change it. We do not make a web design for you and then let you judge, we make a design by working with you.

  Will I get to see what my web design looks like before it is finished?

 
Yes! We will keep you updated regularly with all progress of your website and previews regularly via your client login and regular e-mails.

  How long will it take to optimise my website?

The Search Engine Optimisation process usually takes between one to three weeks. The length of time depends on the amount of pages, if your website has already undergone any previous optimisation by you or another company etc.

   Why should I get my website optimised?

The internet has millions and millions of websites. To have an edge on your competitors, a website is a great asset, when used wisely. Search Engine Optimisation is a great way to achieve higher results in search engines and thus, receive more people to your website.

  What techniques do you use to optimise my website?

 
We use a wide-variety of organic techniques to optimise your website for search engines. Some include; applying all necessary "meta names" to all pages, making sure your text which includes your keywords, Submitting your website to multiple leading search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo, MSN), making sure all your URL addresses match the content of their page, change your URLs to be search engine friendly, create/submit a Google Sitemap of your website and link exchanging with other websites.

  How do I get my client login information?

 
You will be e-mailed your client login information (including password and username) once you have accepted to use our services.

  What's in my client login?

In your client login area is an area where you can edit your contact information, see website construction progress and pay off invoices through PayPal.

  Will I still have my client login once my site is made and paid for?

Yes! You will still have full access to your login, unless it gets cancelled or suspended (due to improper use). The reason is that it is a good record to keep to prove you purchased one of our services.

  What security measures do you have in place to make sure all my information
   is kept private?

 
Any information we collect or are given is kept private through appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures and will not be sold, leased, or shared with any other party. This information can, however, be made public in the event that we have reason to suspect your actions while using this website are a potential threat to the safety of The Web Developers.

  Are there any hidden fees?

 
No. Once we give you a quote, that is what the price shall be unless you decide to add more features to your website or the time of your production dramatically increases.

  What is your payment procedure?

 
You pay a 15% deposit before we begin development. Halfway through construction you will pay another 25%. When the website is completed you will pay the remainder 60%.

  Is tax included in the prices?

No, as a small business we are not registered to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) at present.
